Moving-On music video by Sheena
I was to be just the editor on this project, but I couldn’t
pass on a chance to shoot a music video (which I hadn’t done before).
Working with my favourite producer (…for now hehe) Dhruv
Rupapra, He was also the director on this one; Ariel Artur was the Dp, I was
his assistant/gaffer and my greenwich wife (hehe), Gabi Mascarenhas was the
assistant director.
We went down (or up…not sure) to Winchester, which is a
really small town perfect to shoot thrillers. They had this really huge
cemetery… creepy stuff. When we had a break, I was telling Ariel of how small
the town was, everyone could know you at what point I felt someone touching my
arm, I turned and found the elderly lady admiring the bull emblem embedded on
my jacket. (Saying she hadn’t seen it around before) I just turned to Ariel and
gestured…see!
We shot it on the RED ONE, not my favourite camera lol. With
about 5x Arri 650w juniors and a 2k. We also had this really old Cooke lens
(can’t remember the specs) but it had a nice organic filmic feel to it. Wrapped
up at about 12 midnight and got back to London between 2am and 3am.
Awesome shoot
