Meet My Family - Feature Documentary

A feature documentary about my family. I originally made it as personal project but after much comments and requests, I now offer this as a service to other families.
Pre-production took roughly three (3) days, we had four (4) days of shoot (due to availability), and ten (10) days of post-production.

A clip of the film is available online (on vimeo) but has a password. If you are interested in seeing it Or making one for your family, do send us an email and we’ll provide you with a private link and password.

Redline - Feature Film

My second feature as a Dp with Paul Apel Papel directing and Uzee Concepts producing. Again one week after returning from my masters in London. (just like with Benue College)
This project was unique as I got to work with a second Dp (D-Mej) with whom our working relationship was seamless. I hadn’t worked with Uzee before though but turned out to be a really nice producer (…can suffer people though lol)

I originally was on set as the 1st AC but by the end of day one and seeing how hectic the production was going to be, I was made the 2nd Dp.
We shot it on a Blackmagic URSA, 1080p (not my favourite camera… I have a lot of cameras I don’t like but end up shooting a lot with them hehe); awesome visuals but not quite suited for the kind of production. The worse cases were the car interiors; using that camera in that tight of a space was a killer; however we pulled through. Often had to use a towel on my shoulders as carrying 20 pounds wasn’t a walk in the park.

The production took about 8 days; often ending at 2am daily… loool
Overall the production was good and entertaining

World Upside Down

Short film directed by Elena Markocheva
Production spanned four days, day one was mostly interiors while the other days were exterior scenes. The shoot was quite stressful especially when moving between exteriors.
I was the 1st AC on this project, and we shot it on the Canon C300, which was a breeze because I’m quite familiar with the camera now and is probably one of my favourites; with April Zou as the Dp.
It’s still in post-production so there’s little or no information about the film to share now but I”ll keep this post updated when it does.
